"We've
overestimated the ability of enterprises, individuals, and
organizations to absorb change, and we've seriously underestimated the
amount of discipline it may take to do that well."
--Andrea
Anania, executive vice president and CIO of CIGNA Corp quoted in Fast
Company Magazine, March, 2002
The Organizational
Change Series provides a solid basis for organizations to
intentionally increase the CHANGE-ABILITY
of its members. This series supports a diverse range of organizational
change initiatives by:
 |
providing individuals
who need to effectively sponsor change
with tools,
techniques, and insights into the nature--public and
private--of the sponsorship
role thereby increasing their ability to succeed |
 |
providing those with planning
and implementing responsibilities a process
and tools for assessing key implementation risks, designing a
blueprint for change
and monitoring progress toward achieving results |
 |
supporting those
impacted by change--increasing their change readiness
and
resilience during times of complex, overlapping change |
 |
emphasizing the
importance of effectively communicating change with a balance
of integrity and humility |
 |
and more |
When an organization
accepts the challenge of change, managing that change is as important to lasting success as the substance of the change itself.
Whether you are sponsoring change in your organization, charged
with planning and implementing the change, or facing the impact of the change, there is a program designed
