Turbulence of Continuous Change

Change in organizations has a lifecycle. Change also has a habit of not occurring in isolation. At any point in any phase, a newer more urgent disturbance may capture the focus and imagination of the organization's leadership. This challenge is one they must take seriously. For it is their responsibility to select organizational changes carefully. Organizations have a capacity for, and a speed of, change. Sponsors who exceed this limit do so at the peril of their organizations, and the myriad of stakeholders--stockholders, employees, customers, suppliers, communities, etc..
